WHQ - Fire Pit

The smell of smoke hung heavy in the dungeon air.
Fleetwood the halfling's stomach rumbled at the scent of roasted meat.
“I wonder what’s for supper,” he mused.

From the deep shadows came a guttural reply:
“Halfling... and taters.”

This is intended for one of the WHQ (war hammer quest) board pieces i'm currently working on.   A friend suggested it be added here as scatter terrain

Scale this to any size you would like.   I have 2 copies on the build plate.  One is at 100% the other is at 20%.   just depends on the level of detail you would like.  I'm not very good at trying to replicate fire so this is just the fire pit and coals.

to paint it you could either paint it an ash grey with black under coat and white(ish) dry brushing or you could have the coals still hot and have a yellow undercoat and work from orange to red and drybrush black to give it the looks of coals cooling down.

I do not have a picture of a painted version of this.  I will have to paint up another one and will post the picture

This was printed in Bambu Matte Jade White on a .4mm nozzle with .08mm layer height.  it will give you a warning but it will print fine.  I would recommend printing on .2mm nozzle if you want a higher detail model (it is scatter terrain after all so would not really need)
