Fantastic Spinning Top with many Optical Effects

I have designed a convertable model consisting of a spinning top base, a screwable rotary axis and many spinning disks with different optical effects and for optical illusions. The Benham disk is a fascinating example of an optical illusion that shows how our brain interprets colors that are not actually there. 

Observe the changes in the pattern on the surface as the spinning top rotates. The effects that arise when you film the rotating spinning tops with your cell phone, for example, are very interesting - let yourself be surprised...

It is also possible to design your own spinning disk, e.g. a simple paper disk that is painted.

The Starter Set includes the spinning top base, the screwable rotary axis and some disks.
