Description

Spill-Proof Cup Holder – Modular & Secure Mounting - Print-in-Place ❌🫗

Tired of knocking over your drink while working, traveling, or relaxing? This anti-spill cup holder keeps your beverage locked in place, even when things get bumpy!
It’s part of the same modular clip system I’ve used in other designs, but this time with a rigid screw-on hook for extra strength and permanent setups.

Want another type of HOOK or another type of ATTACHMENT? 👇

What makes it different?

  • Strong and Smooth Print-in-Place Anti-tilt design
  • ✅ Prints with minimal support material
  • Modular interface: clip any compatible module to the hook or reuse your own.
  • Strong screw-on hook: ideal for workshop benches, kayaks, vehicle interiors, or any surface you can fasten it to.
    • The mount comes in 2 versions:
      • Vertical
      • Horizontal
  • ✅ The cup holder comes in 3 versions:
    • Classic (standard cans)
    • Slim Can (perfect for the standard slim can format)
    • Large Container (up to 85 mm diameter – designed for my reusable water bottle)

Print-in-Place instructions

  1. When finish printing, remove little support material and break the weak links
  2. Play with for some time to smooth the joints (dont be afraid to apply forces in any directions wich I figure it helps a little). You can stop when you give a swirl at it and it turn for some seconds (do this for both ring)

Material Notes & Testing

  • Printed in matte PLA, this design performs excellently under static load — tested with 1 kg of weight and showed no visible flex in the rings.
  • For impact resistance, materials like PETG or ABS are recommended.
  • For high-temperature environments (e.g. direct sunlight, car interiors), consider using PETG < ABS < ASA.

I haven’t tested all these materials myself so feel free to share your results or suggest improvements!

Screw assembly

Simply apply a small amount of cyanoacrylate adhesive in the hole and screw the parts together promptly.

🛶 While it wasn’t made just for boats, it’s perfect for boating too — no more spilled drinks when waves hit!
