Tesla Reactor – Energy with style - Diorama

The Tesla Reactor is the standard Soviet power supply unit from Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2.

If you want to build your base, you need power – and if you want power with style, you need this reactor.

This 3D-printed version was designed to be true to the iconic in-game model.

The design consists of the reactor body and eight separate cooling pipes that can be precisely attached to the reactor or glued for maximum hold. To ensure that the model is stable and looks perfect, it is important to pay attention to the correct alignment during assembly: the underside of the cooling pipes belongs to the underside of the reactor – just as they lay flat on the plate during printing.

• Overall structure: 1 main part (reactor) + 8 cooling pipes
• Printing height: approx. 6-7 cm (depending on scale)
• Supports required: Yes, especially for the cooling pipes and overhanging details
• Material: PLA recommended, but can also be printed in ABS/PETG without any problems
• Cooling pipes: Can be plugged in or glued for more stability
• Scaling: Standard size is perfect as a decorative element, but can be easily scaled

If you print several of these and place them next to each other, you immediately get the look of a fully developed Soviet base – perfect for dioramas, cosplay sets or as stylish decoration in your gaming room.

Lore & nostalgia:

In the game, the Tesla reactor serves as the basic component of every Soviet operation. Small but powerful, it supplies defence systems such as the Tesla coil with sufficient energy – as long as it is not pulverised by a Prism Tank or taken over by Yuri.

All relevant settings are already in the 3mf. file. For a successful print it is essential that your printing plate is absolutely free of dirt, grease and fingerprints. Follow the cleaning instructions provided by the printer manufacturer.
