Zoom H1e Tripod Offset w/ Magsafe and Battery Cap

Easily one of the most niche things I’ve ever modeled—but incredibly useful if you need it. This custom mount allows your Zoom H1e to connect securely to a MagSafe system. I used metal adapter rings to anchor it into the recessed ring area, then trimmed the excess for a clean fit. With the right metal, the connection is solid and dependable. > > I designed the offset to include an integrated battery cap, so you don’t have to remove the whole mount to change batteries—just loosen it slightly and slide it aside. The offset also brings the ¼-inch thread attachment point closer to the bottom, keeping it clear of the deadcat and other accessories. The bottom hole accommodates a thread insert, which I did not yet add in the photos. It’s definitely a specialized solution, but if it fits your needs, I’d love to hear how it works for you.
