Inspired by online resources, I designed and 3D printed these for maintaining my MTB bicycles. Instead of a professional stand, I typically invert my bike on the workbench, resting it on the handlebars and saddle. This approach proves convenient for accessing various components, ensuring everything is at the right height and eliminating the need to bend over. However, accessing the shifters becomes challenging, especially with my leverless setup. These supports, positioned at either handlebar end, elevate the handlebars and shifters from the workbench, facilitating easier inverted use. They also prevent damage to the workbench or floor. Installation and removal are straightforward. Printed in TPU, they offer both softness and excellent grip on the supporting surface.

Two profiles are included: one with the maintenance supports, printed in a firmer TPU for AMS—more resilient than standard 95A—though standard 95A TPU is also suitable. This profile features 100% infill in reinforced sections and 30% infill elsewhere. I employed sequential printing.

The second profile contains two elastic bands to secure the supports to the handlebars. These are crafted from more pliable 95A TPU using sequential printing. Alternatively, appropriately sized O-rings or elastic cord—my preferred option, similar to hair elastics—can be used. If opting to print these, the model within the profile is scaled for optimal attachment. It should be printed in 95A TPU for superior flexibility and ease of insertion.
