I recommend using some sort of glue or adhesive to make sure your print stays put on the plate while printing.

Why is there no "customize" button on this bird?

I’m not sure honestly. I had a few upload like that randomly. What did you want to customize ?

That's weird. The "make you model" button is available, but the customized button is missing. Maybe try editing and checking the settings and saving again, possibly without changes. I usually only use 0.4 color thickness to optimize color change. And a total thickness of 2 mm.
