Description
Hey everyone,
this is an updated version of my original model RC 1/10 airless tires. I have made several enhancements:
-added tread for more equal grip across different terrains as well as enhancing grip in some scenarios
-rounded corners to solve the problem of the original tire getting caught on rough surfaces
-changed the offset to fit tamiya bodys better
-added rigidity
These mods have made the tire handle bumpy roads, gravel and even slight grass a lot better. When driving on a slick, or very even surface i would still opt for V1 tho because of the decreased contact area of this design.
This Version works great as an allround wheel and has held up a couple of months now. I would be cautious when adding this to a car with an extreme amount of power. I tested these up to 3s lipo power in a modded tt02 frame with a brushless motor and esc combo.
Print Time ~7h 30min
Filament ~81g of TPU (i used 90A but the softer you go the more grip should theoretically be generated)
