Instructions

Painting the switch

I painted mine with green and red high-gloss acrylic paint.
The parts are intentionally printed in two so it's easier to paint without making a mess. When dry, press in the square part in the hole and the seam should be perfect. I recommend painting on the surface that faced the bed for a better finish.

Inserting the magnets

I used those magnets: TRYMAG 6x2mm, should be the same used for Gridfinity.
You can place half a drop of crazy glue in the hole and slide the magnet in. I found it easier to handle with extra magnets on the other side so it stays in place while drying.

Assembly

The case is press fit and should be easy to assemble.

Increased friction (optional)

You might find that the plastic slide too easily on the surface of a fridge. If you want to, you can apply a layer of Clear Plasti Dip on the back side.
 

Version Changes

• Better tolerances, no need to sand anything anymore
• Added angled corners on the slider so it doesn't get stuck 
• Longer walls for the case so it doesn't accidentally falls apart
• AMS version now has a solid base to avoid breaking at the seam
