Description

Lindnjoe had a lovely butterfly bookend, but I wanted a version of it that didn't require glue or lots of supports. Also, one that had a portion that sat under the books, so the weight of the books could keep it from sliding. I borrowed the ridged based design from Triple G Workshop's Stickman bookend, because it's awesome, made the whole bookend a bit thinner to use less material, and I moved the butterfly to the back, to remove the need for supports. I have an a1 mini, so mine is sized to fit both sides of the book end on one plate, but you should be able to scale it up easily enough if you want it larger. If you don't have an AMS, it's designed so you could just switch colors after layer 5 (1mm) (but you'll need to add in your own pause).

I've only been doing this 3D printing thing for about 3 months, and this is the first design I've uploaded, so be kind in your comments.
