Sports Car "Spyder" Rim Wall Clock

Hello friends,

 

I've completely redesigned one of my earlier clocks and made it compatible with the BambuLab Kit011.
This time, I took inspiration from the iconic Spyder rim design, giving the clock a more detailed and intricate structure.

The finished clock has a diameter of approximately 40 cm.
The clock hands come with integrated spacer sleeves to ensure better clearance from the clock face.
The hour markers simply snap into place — no glue required!

Assembly is simple:

  1. Print all parts.
  2. Glue the 5 star-shaped segments together (make sure they are properly aligned).
  3. Insert and glue the center cap with emblem.
  4. Add and glue the nuts in place.
  5. Insert the clock mechanism (either Kit011 or a movement with similar specs).
  6. Finally, attach the clock hands and snap on the time indicators.

For a clean, professional look, I recommend painting the star frame first, before continuing with the final assembly steps.
