K-2SO was a KX-series security droid built in 12 BBY on the planet Vulpter. K-2SO would serve the Galactic Empire. At some point, he took part in an Imperial parade on the planet Coruscant among two hundred total KX-series droids. The droid noticed the Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine's presence at the parade as well.
