Cat Window Perch Replacement Suction Cup Mount

This is a reinforced, 3D-printable replacement for the window suction cup mount on the popular GORILLA GRIP Cat Window Perch. (Amazon link to the original https://a.co/d/ecQih1b)

The original injection-molded part on our perch cracked after our active cat jumped off it forcefully. I designed this replacement to be significantly stronger and more rigid to withstand high-energy cats like ours. Despite its thicker construction, the model is a direct swap for the original and still allows the perch to fold up against the window just like the factory version.

While this might be a niche part, I took the time to model it and wanted to share it with anyone who might have the same issue.

Printing Recommendations:

• Main Body: I printed this using a blue PC-CF filament (Shoutout to Ambrosia Filament). I highly recommend using a stiff, durable material with excellent layer adhesion, such as PC-CF, PA-CF, PET-CF, or a similar composite to ensure it does not flex under your cat's weight.
• Feet: The small feet that press against the window should be printed in a flexible filament. I used Overture TPU 95A, and any similar TPU/TPE will work perfectly.
