Gulf of America Bottle Rocket Launcher with Bottom

Well, fourth of July is coming up and that means blowing stuff up all night, aswell as for 2 weeks before hand, and 1 weekend after the fact. You hear that sound….? You know what that means…. Hide your dogs, hide your vets that dont like booms, and get out your torch lighters out! Time to launch small projectiles into the air. I present to you, The Gulf of America Freedom Bottle Rocket Launcher!

Originally i printed Makers Mashup bottle rocket launcher (seen here). Its a very nicely made tube with just one issue to me. It didnt have a bottom. I like having bottoms on my tube launchers because i can prep them/pack them with explosive stuff and then carry the whole tube to where i want to launch it from… already loaded. 

So i imported his project into tinkercad and fitted a bottom to his design. So now the bottom is closed off at the end of the tube. I can put my bottle rockets in there and carry into middle of street, ready to launch. It has holes at the base so you can attach to the grass with yard stakes or screws to a piece of plywood for more durability. Or just place a brick/rock on the base to hold it down. 

I also configured the colors to match the occasion, THE FOURTH OF JULY! The best holiday in the country. Alcohol, Things that explode, US pride. Cant beat it! 

This can fit a ordinary bottle rocket as shown in the picture, it can hold various roman candle sizes, and anything else of similar circumference. If you end up printing it and doesnt hold what you intended it to hold, then you can just use the print as a big community shot glass made from plastic. Just think outside the box people!

I will chuckle and say “play stupid games, win stupid prizes”. If you have two left hands, are irresponsible, dont think through stuff much, then dont use this model. Leave the fireworks to the backyard professionals, such as myself.
