SlideCase – A Lightweight, Lock-Tight Sliding Box
Print Profile(3)

Description
I originally designed the SlideCase to carry my Ti'Pleasure sugar cubes to work—just toss it into a bag pocket and you’re good to go.
The lid has a built-in stop to prevent it from sliding out completely by accident, and a grippy surface texture makes it easy to open—even with slightly sweaty fingers. It also snaps shut with a satisfying click, keeping the case securely closed during transit.
It’s super easy to print—I’ve made about 10 already without a single fail. The latest version includes minimal supports for the lid’s guiding rails, but it might still print cleanly without them thanks to the simple bridging.
Tip: If it doesn't slide that easily right after printing, rub the top of the bottom part quickly on a cloth (or your pants) for a few seconds. That smooths out the roughest bits—and after that, it should slide just fine.
Despite weighing only 30g, the case feels surprisingly sturdy—even when printed in Matte PLA (yes, the notoriously brittle stuff).
If you like this design but want it in a different size, drop a comment—I’d be happy to tweak it!
Update 2025/07/24: Added the Square variant and removed the supports from the rectangular version.
