Description

I wanted a simple light switch guard that would keep me from accidentally turning off a couple of switches, but would also let me easily use the switch when I wanted to reset the smart devices on the circuit. I originally printed and installed this design, but it required a screwdriver to remove it completely in order to use the switch. I decided to make my own model, inspired by that design, that removed a locking tab, added a chamfer on the underside, and also a thumb tab to make it easy to move. The photos show how the design is intended to function, and it works well for my purpose. I recommend putting a small amount of thread locker on the screw to prevent it from turning when moving the guard.
