Added a loose version of the tripod base
Tired of looking for a stable spot to place your camera when you’re on the go? This compact, always-ready tripod was designed to solve exactly that. Originally created to support an Insta360 X4, it’s the perfect companion for any device with a standard 1/4” thread — from action cams to compact cameras.
The tripod body, including legs and base, is entirely print-in-place with no supports required. However, take special care the first time you unfold the legs. To avoid breakage, gently insert a finger between them and rock each one back and forth slowly until it reaches the full 90° open position. Repeat for all three legs, then close them one by one by pushing inward. This process helps them fold back neatly without gaps.
You can choose between two versions:
- Fixed Axis: Includes a printable bolt and nut to lock your setup in place — no extra parts required.
- Swivel Head (recommended): Featuring a ball joint and crown cap, this version allows you to adjust the angle with ease. Just fasten it using 3x M2x10mm screws for smooth, adjustable positioning.
To enhance grip and style, TPU foot caps are included in both versions. They help prevent sliding on smooth surfaces and add a splash of color.
