Description

This is a specially designed hammer optimized for metal 3D printing using Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technology. The hammer head is printed in titanium alloy, combining strength and lightweight performance, while the handle is a 20mm diameter wooden rod for comfortable grip and easy replacement.

The design integrates lattice structures to reduce weight and material usage without compromising durability. The head and handle are assembled with a simple interference fit and a fastening hole for extra security, making it both functional and visually appealing.

Although originally intended for metal printing, the model can be adapted for FDM printing as a display piece or lightweight tool.

Key Features:

  • Optimized for SLM metal printing (e.g., titanium alloy)
  • Lightweight internal lattice design
  • Assembly-ready with wooden handle insert
  • Minimal post-processing required
  • FDM printable variant available for hobbyists

Assembly Tip:
Use a standard 20mm wooden rod or sand down a handle to fit. Add epoxy or a screw for stronger attachment if needed.
