Description

This project provides containers for the myriad of triangular tokens and the various sets of cards in their own containers sized to fit within the spaces within the Pandora Celeste's organizer (more info about the game is found on Gamefound if you are interested).

The containers support the Deluxe version of the game and the Shapeshifter Expansion, Marina the Colonial Marine, Science Officer Keni and the extra protocols and agendas.

If you aren't familiar with the game the clear inserts are placed over the game board to provide the vents layer that the players (and nasties) can move into and through - so you don't want to lose that.  However, there are 13 different types of triangular tokens and I wanted something that would make set up really quick and easy.

The card holders support sleeved cards (I used Sleeved Kings regular sleeves) but are otherwise unremarkable.  These are sized just deep enough to hold all the cards so they won't slide out when on the table.  This does mean they all have slightly different depth (except for two).  Its possible I could have standardized them to all be the same but I was conscious of maximizing what space the game insert provided.  Maybe something I will return to if there is demand.

The sets of character cards don't have their own containers and are split into two containers, four in each, with one having slightly more space to hold Marina and her equipment cards.

Note: The second print profile uses a different lid design for the card holders which isn't compatible with the first version, which slides into a slot in the top of the container.

Hi! This looks fantastic. I'm also a bit jealous as you clearly got your copy way ahead of me but such is life... I have a suggestion: In your photos, there are three empty compartments. How much hassle would it be to use these and free up one of the large compartments? "Why?!" you ask? Mike at Guntower has said the Pirates expansion will fit into that compartment so it would be great to keep it free.

Pickup at UKGE. I know he mentioned that to me but until I have sight on the expansion its a bit hard to look into what can be changed. However, I don't think it will be necessary as I've just tried. The smaller card holders are rather spread out in the photos (they are also sized to only be deep enough to fit their contents), and you can stack them a bit more efficiently, which will free up a large compartment with one box of cards having to live in the space at the top of the box where the triangular bridge insert sits with all rulebooks and reference card and minis.

Having now got Pirates and Salvage from Mike at UKGE there is no issue making room for it to fit in a large compartment.

Any chance you could update the lids to have cutouts on the sides? I printed the Vents Cards box, and it can't really be opened without putting a fingernail between the base and lid and prying it open, and I'm concerned about damaging cards when doing that.

Hi, How big a slot? The second profile has an entirely different lid design, which required changes to the card container as well, but before I published that I did do a design with a small slot, is this big enough to you think it needs to be bigger. I think the only issue with this is it lines up with the slot in the card box.

Thanks for the quick reply! My thought was a semicircle about 20mm wide and 10mm tall (or up to about 50% of the height of the box, if it's shorter). I don't think that aligning with the opening would matter. I saw the other designs, but prefer the non-slide lids. I printed a test of the Vents cards with the lid at 100.5% for width and height, and now it's loose enough to come off - so that probably solves the problem for me. But I would generally prefer the original fit with cutouts, and would probably reprint the couple lids I've done so far if it were provided.

I've updated the first profile with the lids with the small cutout, hopefully it won't take long for that to be approved. Suggest printing one and seeing if it works for you. If not it will take a bit more work to increase the size of the cutouts. The fact I sized all the boxes to fit be just big enough for their cards makes it more work to make new changes across them all.
