Description

This little sitting duck was never meant to be anything fancy — just a simple, cute project that’s quick to print and guaranteed to bring a smile. And honestly, it does exactly that. No moving parts, no complicated design — just a calm, chubby duck in a relaxed pose that feels straight out of a cartoon.

The duck sits with its tiny feet spread out and its round belly slightly puffed up, with its head gently tilted upwards. It has that friendly, slightly goofy expression that makes it hard not to like. Whether you put it on your desk, a shelf, or give it away as a small gift — it just works.

The model is very easy to print and doesn’t require any complex settings. It does need just one small support under the beak, since it sticks out a bit — but that’s it. Everything else prints cleanly without supports. I used the basic "supports touching buildplate" option and had no issues at all.

I printed my first duck in light blue, and to be honest, I was surprised how well it turned out. There’s something really peaceful and soft about that color — it gave the duck a dreamy, almost storybook look. It now lives happily on my shelf, but I’m definitely planning to print more in different colors — maybe yellow for the classic duck look, or even a sparkly one for fun.

This is the kind of model that’s great for beginners or for anyone looking for a quick and satisfying print. It doesn’t take long, uses very little filament, and comes out nicely even with default slicer settings. Perfect if you want to use up leftovers or just need a no-stress project after a long day.

Even though it’s a static figure, there’s something very joyful about it. It has personality, charm, and that magical “you know what, I’ll print another one” feeling.

If you end up printing your own version, I’d love to see it! Especially if you go wild with colors — the duck wears them well. 🐥💛

absolutely fantastic, it's not too big, it's not too small, the base is a lovely touch, first of all giving it a stable surface to display, and then it gives it a vibe like a DND character miniature... that combined with its exquisite posture, really gives this life ...
