š§Ø My Tiny 3D-Printed Rocket Engine (Propan/Butane + Compressed Air)
So Iāve been working on this little rocket engine, and it actually works! It's fully 3D-printed (PLA) and runs on a mix of propane/butane and compressed air. I used a de Laval-style nozzle, which helps the exhaust reach higher speed.
š§ Specs:
⢠Fuel: Propane/Butane + compressed air
⢠Thrust: Around 20 Newtons (this is just an estimate ā I asked ChatGPT to calculate it because I donāt know how to measure it)
⢠Printed in PLA
⢠Nozzle shape: de Laval
⢠Size: 15 cm long
