The Fritz-Walter-Stadion is a football stadium in Kaiserslautern, Rhineland-Palatinate, and the home ground of 1. FC Kaiserslautern. It opened in 1920 and has undergone several modernizations, including for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Located on the Betzenberg hill, it is often called the “Betze”. It currently holds approximately 49,850 spectators and is named after Fritz Walter, the captain of the 1954 German World Cup-winning team and an FCK legend.
The stadium is renowned for its unique atmosphere, passionate fans, and steep construction, making it one of Germany's most electrifying stadiums.
