Universal Clamp Mount for Dell Wyse 3040

A simple clamp mount for the Dell Wyse 3040 thin client. It can be used horizontally, vertically, or upside down.

A rubber band secures the Wyse 3040 in the mount, pulling the “arms” towards the thin client via the mounting points, thus clamping and holding it firmly.

After mounting the holder in the intended location, the Wyse 3040 is simply slid into the holder from the right or left (or top or bottom)—either with full access to all ports or in “headless mode,” where some ports are partially obscured. The cutouts for the 12mm rubber feet on the underside are precisely placed and sized, allowing the Wyse to move freely within the holder.

For thermally demanding applications where the Wyse 3040's passive cooler reaches its limits, the holder provides space between the arms (coincidentally :D) for a 92x92mm fan, which can also be easily clamped with the rubber band. Two birds, one stone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have created the holder with both forward-facing and side-mounted rubber band attachment points. Due to the central location of these points, two small support struts are necessary. Print time is approximately 75 minutes at a 0.16mm layer height with top layer ironing.
