Description

A compact two-piece filament cleaner designed to remove dust and lint before the filament enters the extruder. The construction features precise alignment pins and snap-fit joints for secure and convenient assembly.

Compatible with microfiber, thin felt, or sponge inserts. Easy to assemble, maintain, and blends well with modern printer setups.

Model specifications:
– Dimensions: 25 × 15 × 10 mm
– Pin-based alignment system
– Rounded edges, minimalist style
– No supports required

Recommended print settings:
– Layer height: 0.12 mm (for higher precision)
– Material: PLA or PETG
– Infill: 20–30%
– Orientation: flat side down
– Supports: not needed

Instructions for use:

  1. Insert a piece of microfiber, felt, or sponge inside.
  2. Align the two halves and press them together until they click.
  3. Thread the filament through the central hole — and you're done.

This model is optimized for 0.4 mm nozzles (0.2mm for model with logo) with 0.12 mm , 0.16mm or 0.2 mm layer height. For best results, print slowly (especially small details like the logo) and ensure your printer is well-calibrated.

If the print doesn't come out perfectly on the first try, please don't rush to leave a bad review — try reducing your print speed or tweaking your slicer settings. Feel free to leave feedback or ask questions — I'm happy to help!

Post-Print Tip:
After printing, make sure to remove any leftover stringing, blobs, or small artifacts — especially around the snap-fit edges and alignment pins.

If not cleaned properly, the parts might be hard to snap together or may not align correctly. A bit of sanding or trimming with a hobby knife can make assembly much smoother.
