R.I.P-Pads

Spent coffee grounds are considered excellent fertilizer for indoor and outdoor plants. Anyone using a coffee pod machine (e.g., Senseo) and wishing to repurpose the used coffee pods knows the drill: The pods must first be dried before granting their coffee grounds an “afterlife.”

This is precisely why I built this rack. It holds up to 10 damp/used pods, features a drip tray in the base to keep countertops clean, and, with its tombstone design for the “deceased” pods, makes a striking addition to any kitchen.

The model can be printed in two colors without AMS. The base plate is on a separate print bed, the supports and drip tray on another. The parts simply slot together and hold well. However, for added security, a drop of superglue can be used.
