Desktopless Fan
Print Profile(2)

Description
Inspired by Dyson’s explanation of bladeless fans on Bilibili, I crafted a miniature, desktop bladeless fan, revealing the intricate engineering behind this design.
Contrary to its name, a bladeless fan doesn’t entirely forgo blades; instead, it ingeniously manipulates airflow through a sophisticated duct system, widening the airflow dispersion and mimicking a more natural breeze. The fan’s power, however, remains largely contingent on the motor’s strength.
I utilized a standard 9cm computer fan for propulsion, strategically dividing the model into four easily printable components for enhanced manufacturability.
Adhesive is required for assembly. A slightly thicker adhesive, such as B7000 or hot glue, is recommended to minimize vibrations and air leakage from the fan.
Required Components:
9cm Computer Fan (92×92×25mm)
15×10mm Rocker Switch
Power Adapter (matched to your fan specifications; I used a 12V1A DC power supply)
*A low-noise fan is highly recommended (high-speed fans generate excessive airflow and considerable noise).
