Description

For such a popular outdoor game, ours only came with three axes in only one color, which made it difficult to play against a second player. I spent a few weeks designing this and letting my kids beat it up. After a lot of revisions, I'm finally happy with it. They haven't been able to break this version so I feel its time to share it.

If you have an issue just ask. Please don't give me a 1 star because you don't know how to print it. It requires alittle extra work as you're going to need to Cricuit out the foam for these (link provided), or use the PNG template.

I print this standing up with supports. Please use my profile unless you can do better.

  • PETG only. PLA will crack after alot of use.
  • It uses 3x m3*6 countsunk head screws. The holes are smaller on purpose. You have to self tap it. It takes some effort. You want it snug but don't overtighten it.
  • e6000 glue. Make sure you spread it everywhere. Spray glue won't work after a while. Let it try for at least 12 hours. Take the time to press the foam into the recess. Usually I glue everything/ screw it, then put it under a heavy book for a few hours first.
  • I sand the bottom as sometimes the supports don't leave the best surface. I have a grinder and touch it up, but im sure you can hand sand it to clean it up.
  • Foam material we used was 2mm thick craft foam sheets. We used Michael's 12"x18" sheets and could fit two whole axes worth on one sheet (8 pieces total) Each axe uses four pieces (one for the outside and one for the inside of each piece), so make sure you make two of each side per axe.

Haha I'll add it to my list. When you say the peg holder, you mean the whole thing right?

Replying to @theplahaus :
the stars would be awesome. the newer (light up) version of this target set doesn’t come with them anymore and has darts and axes instead, the darts are front heavy and hard to throw with any accuracy at all.
