🛠️ Machining Update – Project Milestone
As of 03/02/2014, the Turner’s Cube model was successfully machined using a Haas CNC 4-axis system by Chris Campbell. High-quality renderings of the machined model are available in the GrabCAD project gallery. The machining program will soon be available for download, providing a valuable learning resource for CNC enthusiasts.
This project serves as a great benchmark for:
- Understanding nested geometries
- Exploring tolerance and symmetry
- Practicing 4-axis machining operations
- Demonstrating 3D printing accuracy
Whether you're an educator, student, or hobbyist, the Turner’s Cube is a must-try model to understand the intersection of digital fabrication and traditional machining.
