Description
This is a part of an in-development collection of Diabetic accessories, which you can find here
The stock case that comes with the Tandem T:Slim X2 is… ok. The problems with the stock case include: slippery and easy to drop, a terrible clip, ugly, low durability, and no color choices. So I went ahead and designed a replacement case using TPU, which I think is nicer to hold, better looking, and more protective than the stock case. This model doesn't include a clip (if like me you prefer to just use a pocket), and a version with a clip is coming soon.
Installing this case is the same as the stock case. Disconnect your infusion site, and run the tube through the hole, and then slip it in the case. It's a snug fit by design, so don't be surprised if it takes a bit of massaging to get it in. Be cautious of the charge port cover as you're putting the case on, and make sure the charge port cover is fully closed.
I've also included a downloadable model of the t-slim pump for anybody who would like to design their own accessories.

This model took a lot of measuring, testing, and refinement. A boost for my effort would be appreciated!
Notes about Printing with TPU and Support Material.
TPU does not support itself very well. The way I've oriented the print you can print this with only TPU and use TPU support (if you don't have an AMS or AMS compatible TPU). The exterior will look good, but the interior will have a lot of support scarring and it may take a lot of cleanup to get the pump to fit right.
I printed with Sunlu TPU-Silk, 98A, which has some lovely colors and worked just fine in the AMS Lite. I used PLA as the support interface. TPU bridges and overhangs poorly, so dense support and a support interface was required. I also tested various print orientations, and while this orientation takes more support, it has the best result. I haven't tried PVA support interface, but if you have, it, note that I changed the offset from the interface material, and you may want to adjust accordingly.
