Lexus LS430 Center Console Sliders

This is a replacement part for Lexus/Toyota Part 74124-22050 and 58871.  These two parts combine to make a slider in the center console tray of the LS430 center console.  My part replaces this hybrid metal/plastic design, with an all plastic design that is less likely to break. The plastic slider part disintegrates with age, and leaves you with little plastic pieces in the bottom of your center console, as well as the metal clips.  These should be printed in ABS or some other heat resistant plastic so that they do not melt in the heat.  PLA would not be advisable.

You will need six of these sliders, which will all be printed if you print the profile above.

Once the console is out, you will need to remove the center console lid, then the screws circled in red in the picture above to pull the metal plates off the side of the console box.  You'll need to do this on both sides of the console box, for a total of 26 screws.

Once you have done this, you will see the remnants of the sliders you're replacing.  I recommend you clean up the holes in your prints with a 7/64" drill bit, and then they will pop on the axles in the console tray.

The sliders should be installed with the curved side down towards the bottom of the car/ground.  Then installation is just a reverse of removal.  Enjoy a 100% working center console in your Lexus!
