The Minaton from Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger

This is a sculpture of a Minaton lighting stand-in made by Ray Harryhausen for the Sam Wanamaker fantasy adventure Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. The Minaton was created by Queen Zenobia (Margaret Whiting) to act as her loyal servant and stop Sinbad (Patrick Wayne) from completing his quest. The original that this sculpture was based on came from Harryhausen's personal collection.  It stands 17 inches tall. I filled in the seams with Bondo and used gold rub and buff to give it the gold finish to match it to the movie. If you like what you see, please follow me and give what print you like a like.
