SD Card Case in 24mm Lens Shape

This 3D-printed SD card case is designed to resemble a 24mm camera lens, combining functionality with an aesthetic appeal that makes it ideal for photographers, filmmakers, and tech enthusiasts.

The design is directly inspired by the NIKKOR Z DX 24mm f/1.7, a compact and fast Nikon mirrorless lens. The proportions and styling of the real lens were carefully translated into a functional storage object.

The model includes two main components:
– A main cylindrical body that mimics the barrel of a lens
– A screw-on cap with a precise thread for secure closure

The inside features a compact and efficient layout with 15 total slots
Each slot is dimensioned to fit snugly and securely, preventing any rattling or accidental removal. The cards are easily accessible with a finger-pinch motion, and the internal structure is robust enough to hold them even during transport.

The screw-on mechanism is modeled with a tight thread pitch, allowing smooth but firm closure. Once closed, the cap stays in place without risk of accidental opening. The design imitates the external texture of a real 24mm lens, with grip rings and decorative engravings that can be emphasized using multi-material or color-change printing.
