Nikon Nikkor Z Mount Rear Lens Caps for 114 Lenses

Specs for 114 Different Nikon Z mount Lenses. 

Rear cap is a custom bespoke design by me. 

When printing, make sure the print bed is clean, and turn on auto leveling when you send the cap to the printer. 

Each file was set up in Bambu Studio and uses arachne walls generation to slice to better text. All text is set in Arial Rounded for best printing. Also, each file has the layer sequence customised so that the white text will retain the best separation between the black - as seen below in the Plate Settings. 

🛠️ How to Use:

1. Print the Lens Cap
   • Recommended settings:
     • Material: PETG or ABS for durability (PLA also works for light use)
     • Layer Height: 0.2mm
     • Infill: 20–30%
     • Supports: Not required
   • Allow the print to cool fully before handling.
2. Attach to Lens
   • Align the cap with the rear mount of your Nikon Z-mount lens.
   • Gently press and twist clockwise until it clicks or feels secure.
   • The cap should sit flush with the lens body, offering a tight seal.
3. Remove When Needed
   • Twist counterclockwise to release.
   • Store the cap in your camera bag or lens case for reuse.
4. Care Tips
   • Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
   • Avoid prolonged exposure to heat if printed in PLA.
   • Reprint as needed for multiple lenses or backups.
