My dogs splash their water all over the floor when they drink from their bowl. normal mats collect bacteria and get extremely gross and hard to clean. I came up with this solution. It is a floating garage floor style mat that interlocks and allows air to flow underneath the bowl and let the floor dry out. This can be used on a bare floor or on top of an existing dog mat. The tiles are 4.5"x4.5", so 4 of them make a 9" square. Scale the X and Y down if you need to make a smaller square.
