I have created an enlarged base plate for the Bosch Professional GOF 1250 router to improve its suitability for edge milling, a task for which it is actually too large. The plate simply replaces the machine's transparent base plate; the existing screws can be reused.

The plate has a recess for a hexagon socket head screw (M6x20mm) where the small handle can be bolted. I recommend gluing the M6 screw in place with superglue to ensure a firm fit.

The handle is fitted with an M6 threaded nut (I use ones with a 70mm width and 12mm length) and can thus be easily screwed on.
