The Nuts & Caps Maker is a powerful parametric generator for creating standard-compliant nuts and nut caps for both metric threads (M2–M36) and imperial threads (#0-80 to 3/4-16), with a unique twist: 19 customizable surface textures that don't just look amazing – they also greatly enhance grip, making your prints easier to use by hand.

You can easily adjust wall thickness (cap height) and size directly in the MakerWorld interface – no design skills needed. Whether you're working on a mechanical build, a decorative project, or need caps for both metric and imperial hardware, this tool has you covered.

• Layer Height: 0.1mm — For high detail and maximum strength.
• Infill: 30% or more — Ensures durable, functional parts.
• Max Print Speed: 100 mm/s  — Recommended for fine-thread accuracy.
• Fill Pattern: Gyroid  — Provides excellent strength-to-weight ratio and material efficiency

🛠️ Customization Tips

1. For tight threads: Use "5H" tolerance (tighter fit)
2. For loose threads: Use "7G" tolerance (easier assembly)
3. For extra grip: Try "diamonds", "ribs", or "pyramids" textures
4. For decorative caps: Try "hex_grid", "wave_ribs", or "tri_grid"
5. For thicker caps: Increase wall thickness parameter
