The user's design incorporates a flat base

This would extrude the bearing lubricant

Consequently, I devised a bearing shroud with a recessed base

This ensures optimal lubricant retention during installation

Lubricant extrusion is thus prevented, facilitating smoother machine operation

Simultaneously, it provides protection, preventing dust, debris, and other contaminants from adhering to the lubricant

The shroud in no way impedes or restricts printer functionality
