Description

This swiveling filament guide is a simple but powerful tool for improving filament routing around your 3D printer. Ideal for preventing unwanted bending, tension, or tangling, especially when filament is pulled from awkward angles.

The universal swivel joint allows smooth, multi-directional filament movement with a PTFE tube insert, reducing friction and improving feed consistency.

Mounting Options (4 Types Included):

  • Hook for standard white IKEA SKÅDIS board (vertical and horizontal guide)
  • Hook for thin SKÅDIS boards (vertical and horizontal guide)
  • Hole for undercut screw head/bolt
  • Hole for a standard countersunk screw

Features:

  • Smooth all-direction swivel via ball joint
  • PTFE tube support for reduced friction
  • Designed for easy mounting in any workspace setup
  • Printed in PETG, but works with PLA as well
  • Support is necessary for the screw mount only, but it is small and easy to remove
  • Print profile optimized for reinforced print

I recommend you also print this Skadis lock plug, size #9, which will perfectly fix the guide on the board.

Happy printing—and guide your filament to glory!

P.S. If you are looking for a solution to reduce 3D printer noise, have a look on my soundproof enclosure design crafted from IKEA furniture. This enclosure reduces printer noise and ensures impressive 36.5 dB(A) at just 1 meter away. Detailed instruction how to build it you may find here
