Description

This is a simple adapter i modeled in fusion for socket LGA2011v3 with the narrow ILM to fit Thermalright Asassin King 120SE CPU cooler . Couldn't find any models online so made one myself, ive tested it on my SUPERMICRO X10DRU-I+ server board, fits well just need to press the bracket down a little to make it sit on the mounting studs otherwise the m4*16mm screws wont catch.

Its easy enough to install just take one m3*6mm screw and thread it in from the bottom side of the bracket (side with the studs) and then tighten them into the thermalright cooler. Once both brackets are on you can place the cooler on the socket and tighten the four corners down with m4*16mm screws (DO NOT USE LONGER ONES AS YOU CAN RIP THE ILM OFF THE BOARD)

This bracket has allowed me to tame my otherwise screaming Supermicro CSE-829u server and i can actually be in the same room as it without getting a headache.

The server is only 2U so i had to remix a raiser to adapt it to 4u to allow for the taller coolers, the adapter can be found on my profile.
