Ice block cooler for beverage crates – Fast bottle cooling with circulation effect
This 3D-printable ice mold was specifically designed for standard beverage crates with a 4×5 grid (20 bottles). The mold fits precisely onto the bottle necks and ensures efficient and even cooling of the bottle contents. To cover the entire crate, two identical ice molds are required – each covers half (10 bottles) of the crate.
🧊 Function:
- The ice mold is filled with water and frozen.
- After freezing, it can be placed directly on the bottle necks of the crate.
The conical recesses on the underside of the mold fit exactly onto the bottle necks and provide direct contact with the glass.
🌡️ Cooling effect through natural circulation:
A special effect is created by the position of the ice on top of the bottle:
The cold liquid sinks to the bottom, while the warmer liquid rises. This natural thermo-circulation cools the entire bottle contents in a short time – more efficiently than with conventional methods.
