Bring the magic of chess directly from Hogwarts into your home!
This chessboard, completely designed and 3D Printed, is inspired by the world of Harry Potter and is perfect for fans, makers, and collectors. Each piece has been carefully designed, with different designs for the two rival houses: Gryffindor🦁 (in brown) and Slytherin 🐍 (in gray)
Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw are also available!

Project content:
- Modular chessboard in 4 parts
- 32 magical figures inspired by the saga's characters

UPDATE
I recently modified the Slytherin side:
- The King is now Voldemort instead of Dumbledore
- The Queen is now Bellatrix Lestrange instead of Professor McGonagall
This modification makes the Slytherin side more faithful to the spirit of the house. The rest of the figures remained unchanged - And the lid for the boxes is now available
THE FIGURES
Each side represents one of the two famous houses, with completely customized pieces:
Gryffindor (brown side):
- King – Albus Dumbledore
- Queen – Minerva McGonagall
- Bishops – Sirius Black
- Knights – Hippogriff
- Rooks – Hogwarts-inspired castle
- Pawns – Inspired by Harry Potter
Slytherin (gray side):
- King – Voldemort
- Queen – Bellatrix Lestrange
- Bishops – Severus Snape
- Knights – Basilisk
- Rooks – Hogwarts-inspired castle
- Pawns – Inspired by Draco Malfoy
Dedicated figure containers
To avoid leaving the figures always on the chessboard, I designed two dedicated containers:
- Each house has its own container, to keep the pieces separate
- The containers can be stacked one on top of the other, making organization and transport easier
- They have a simple but elegant design, and are very pleasant to the touch: a comfortable and refined solution to store the figures between games
Chessboard assembly
The chessboard is composed of 4 sections that connect to each other with integrated connectors:
- The pieces are numbered and must be assembled in the order specified by the project
- In case of incorrect assembly, the connectors will not fit, avoiding errors
- The last piece may be a bit stiffer to insert: to facilitate the operation, I have slightly chamfered the tip of a connector and used PLA glue to perfectly fix the entire structure
The project has been tested multiple times: if you use the recommended settings, assembly will be simple and precise
Attention during printing
- Some figures have thin wands: they are delicate, avoid handling or removing them by gripping the wand
- The files are already ready for printing, with supports placed where necessary
To achieve the multicolor effect of the chessboard, the use of an AMS or AMS lite system is required
