Description

AquaVortex Veggie & Berry Washer & Strainer - Prints easy with no supports in any printer!

Use your sink's water pressure to automatically wash vegetables, berries, and fruit.

Its internal channels create a gentle vortex, swirling the contents to dislodge dirt effortlessly. The base then doubles as a convenient strainer.

  • Universal Fit: Designed to work with any sink taps and pressures.

  • 💧 2-in-1 Washer & Strainer: A single device to both wash and drain your food.

  • 🖨️ Support-Free Printing: This is a single-piece model that requires no supports and no assembly. Just print it, and it's ready to use.

  • 📏 Fits Small Printers: Prints perfectly on smaller models like the Bambu Lab A1 Mini and Prusa Mini.

Ideal for: Berries, grapes, and cherry tomatoes.

*May work with some herbs, and small leafy vegetables in small amounts.

Boost Me (for free)

Thank you very much to all of you who have downloaded my models, boosted and commented. I carefully read and consider all of your suggestions and feedback on my design. It took me a long time and many prototypes to reach this design, including modifications of fractions of millimeters to the water channels and optimizing for a clean support-free printing. I hope this can work for as many people as possible and help you in any way :)

Some of the intermediate prototypes for testing water flow and printing quality.

Printing Recommendations:

  • Material: PETG or PLA is recommended.
  • Wall numbers: 2
  • Infill: 15-20%
  • Supports: None

STEP file available.

This model was designed to use less water while keeping a deeper “pool” for higher amounts of vegetables. If you would like a version that has the water exchanging and flowing faster, please check my older models :)
