Description

I had my 65" TV on a fully articulated wall mount and wanted to add a Bravia 8 soundbar. To get the direction of the sound right, I thought it must be mounted on the same mount as the TV, so they could swivel together.

Imagine my frustration when after buying the soundbar adapter (Kanto SB200) I found out that the distance between the sound bar's mounting holes is much larger than what the Kanto mount could accommodate.

Fortunately, nothing is a problem for too long if you have a 3D printer. :) I designed a bracket that surrounds the smaller metal bracket and requires no screws to be secured to it. A clever peg ensures that the weight of the soundbar keeps everything in place (see GIF).
