Jägermeister Ice Cube Container

While official Jägermeister ice cube boxes exist, I sought a container fitting my freezer's gridded compartments for easy transfer of homemade ice cubes. Finding none, I designed one based on my compartment's dimensions. Fortunately, it fit perfectly on my P1s print bed. It's best not to move the pre-made Bambu file; realigning for printable dimensions without exceeding the bed or restricted area is difficult.

Initially, I designed a simple box. After the first prototype, I added a removable grid basket, creating a double wall for better insulation when displaying ice cubes at a party. I also incorporated side handles and a lid handle. For visual appeal, I included the Jägermeister lettering on the lid and two side emblems featuring the Jägermeister logo. My photo showcases Sunlu PLA Silk Light Gold; however, orange is also suitable. Ensure support structures are enabled for the inner container.

The side emblems (printed separately top-down to save material and facilitate color changes) and side handles fit into recesses in the container. These require adhesive. I printed the main container without supports, but despite a 2mm gap in the design, overhangs caused some insertion difficulties, requiring minor cleanup with a craft knife. For the base plate, I therefore recommend support structures.

3D printing and food safety often spark debate. Whether PLA is food-safe is a personal decision; use at your own risk.
