This lid insert turns a common 4L storage container into a filament dry box.
It features a thread for PC4-M6 or PC4-M10 fittings, allowing a PTFE tube to guide filament directly from the box to your printer while keeping it dry.
Ideal for hygroscopic filaments like TPU that often cannot be used in the AMS.
Compatible with many 4L containers such as Vtopmart, Skroam, GoMaihe and Wildone. If you use another manufacturer where it also fits, please let me know!

I created an upgraded lid where the PC4-M6 / PC4-M10 connector is recessed, so the boxes remain stackable even when the fitting is installed.

Lid for dry box with PC4-M10 / PC4-M6 connection suitable for 4L containers e.g. Vtopmart, Skroam, GoMaihe and Wildone.
I have two versions. One for PC-M6 connectors and one for PC4-M10 connectors. Make sure to select the correct printing profile.
Filament lid insert for common 4L containers. If you want to print out of the airtight container, you can simply insert this lid, and the filament remains airtight and you can print.
The lid is designed to be stable yet require as little filament as possible.
PC4-M6 contains an M6x1 standard thread for common PC4-M6 connectors.
PC4-M10 contains an M10x1 fine thread for common PC4-M10 connectors.
The filament pass-through lid works for common 4L storage containers. I have tested it for Vtopmart and Skroam, and it fits perfectly. It should also fit GoMaihe and Wildone. If you use another manufacturer where it also fits, please let me know.
The lid has the dimensions:
Outer rim: 73mm
Inner rim: 61mm
Thickness: 8mm
Filament: approx. 12g
Printing time: approx. 25-40 minutes depending on quality
