This case provides robust protection while maintaining full access to all essential features of your CYD board. The two halves snap together with a satisfying and secure click, requiring no hardware for assembly. It's also just as easy to open again if you need to access your board or SD card.

Designed with usability and ease of printing in mind, this case uses minimal material and print time, making it an ideal enhancement for any project utilizing the CYD display.

Compatibility:

Designed specifically for the USB-C version of the CYD 2.8-inch ESP32 Display Module (ESP32-32E 240x320 Resistance Touch).

Printing Specifications:

• Filament: Any standard filament (PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.) will work well.
• Layer Height: 0.2mm recommended for a good balance of speed and detail.
• Infill: 15-20% is sufficient.
• Perimeters: 2-3 perimeters.
• Supports: Generally not required for the main case parts. If printing the version with the pen clip, a small amount of support or a brim around the clip is recommended to ensure a reliable print of the overhang.

Assembly Instructions:

• Insert the Board: Gently press the CYD 2.8" display module into the front half of the case until it securely snaps into its dedicated supports.
• Add Magnets (Optional): If using the magnetic mount, insert three 6mm round magnets into the recesses on the back half of the case. A small drop of super glue is recommended to secure them in place.
• Snap Together: Align the back half of the case with the front half and press firmly around the edges until both halves snap together with a satisfying click.
