Lottery Box

The department is preparing for a random drawing and speech event. My supervisor wants to have a raffle box for the top leader to draw from on-site, adding a sense of ceremony. He asked me to make one from A4 paper, but I lack that skill. So, I opened Fusion 360 and designed one.

The lid is printed separately. To prevent inconsistencies due to thermal expansion and contraction, and to ensure smooth insertion of the lid, the inner edge of the lid was reduced by 0.3mm. This might make it a bit loose, facilitating removal. However, it also prevents sealing with glue. When picking it up, you need to hold it from two sides; otherwise, lifting from the top might lift the lid as well.

Because it's relatively large, warping is possible, so I used a brim on the four corners (though this might not entirely prevent it). You can disable this in your print settings.

Feel free to remix this design or suggest better print settings. It could also be adapted into a ballot box.
