3kg Filament Spool Holder – Enhanced Version with Printable Bearings and Modular System
This new version of the 3kg filament spool holder has been engineered for optimal functionality, stability, and modularity, all while maintaining a robust and contemporary aesthetic.
Compared to the previous model, the improvements include:
🔧 Integrated 6804 Bearings – Included in the 3MF file, these are fully 3D printable. The demonstration video will showcase those printed to demonstrate their effectiveness even without commercial components.
🏗️ Lightweight Structure – Material reduction while maintaining strength and stability: designed to effortlessly support 3kg spools.
🧩 Modular System – The base features recesses allowing for the precise alignment of multiple holders. A locking accessory to securely connect them will be available shortly.
📏 Spool Compatibility:
- Maximum Outer Diameter: 270 mm
- Minimum Inner Diameter: 42 mm
- Maximum Width: 117 mm (optimized for 3kg Polymaker Polyterra spools)
