Description

In this model, you will find my rendition of the Phase Two Clone Trooper from Star Wars in Dummy 13 form. You may notice that @TCTT already made a clone trooper model. Thats true, and it is great (perfect even), but, unfortunately, it does not allow remixes. Therefore, I made this model so that I (and others) can have free reign in remixing the classic clone trooper. While it may not look as good as TCTT's amazing model, I hope it still brings you enough satisfaction.

(Now with 501st and 212th battalions)

Model details (durability, flexibility, assembly, makeing process, etc.)

Durability: As durable as the classic dummy 13 figure.

Flexibility: Similar flexibility to the model from @TCTT.

Assembly: Similar to the classic dummy 13 figure and TCTT's clone model. Nevertheless, I will provide pictured assembly instructions in the assembly section.

Update:7/1/2025

I have made the waist and belt one piece to simplify assembly. Nevertheless, you can still download them as separate pieces in the download section.

Furthermore, I have added a 212th trooper. Use the assembly guide and pictures above to put it together.

How I made this model:

Remixed parts: The head has been shaved and resculpted to fit the Helmet. The neck was shortened to ¾ the length of the original. These changes were made in MeshMixer. I remixed the phase two helmet from Killonious on Thingiverse. I first made it solid by filling the inside, then I made the appropriately sized hole to fit the dummy 13 head. These changes were made in Onshape. For the shoulder, I used the shoulder plate from sergeykarpuhin's Phase Two Clone Trooper Armor on Thingiverse and the classic dummy 13 shoulder. The remix process for this was quite complex and used a combination of Onsahpe and MeshMixer. I used Onshape to align the models appropriately and proportionately, filling and holes or empty spaces along the way. Meshmixer was used to solidify the model and erase any extra holes.

All other armor parts (designed in Onshape) used the original dummy 13 armor as a base and went from there. Obviously, @TCTT's clone armor was an inspiration in this design process, BUT I did NOT use its geometry in the design of my model, thus, I am not violating his standard digital file license. In fact, I used the below picture as my guide to what the armor should look like.

Original parts: The belt was designed in Onshape.  I used the waist armor as a proporitnate guide, and the picture above as a design guide. The snapping mechanism was inspired from @TCTT's clone model.

All of the frame pieces (except the neck) are from the classic dummy 13 action figure

Filament needed: Listed in the BOM below.

Removing Supports: Use the tools pictured below to aid in support removal

If you want to print any weapons for your clone trooper, I am linking some good models below you can check out!

Policy on Remixing: I welcome remixes, but only if they contribute clearly new geometry. A simple coloring would have to be published as a print profile on my model. In other words, make sure you clearly describe the geometrical changes made in a remix.
