Weather shield for outside power outlet

This model is a basic rain shield that is designed to fit over 115mmx85mm outdoor power outlets (the standard size here in Australia), it is designed to allow the use of ‘brick’ style power plugs with outdoor power outlets.  The mounting plate is stuck to the power outlet via double sided table and the cover is able to be removed very quickly and easily when needed.

UPDATED V4: All parts now print cleanly with zero supports  

It has three parts;

1. A mount bracket which is stuck to the power outlet using double sided tape (see pics). This bracket allows the main shield to clip onto it in such a way that the shield can easily be removed whenever access to the power outlet is required.

2. The removable shield which simply clips over the mount bracket. 

   -  Standard 125mm length model

   -  Longer 150mm length model (for use with double adapter)

3. (optional) a slide in cover piece for extra protection

NOTE: The devices you place outside should be suitably weatherproof by design or otherwise well protected from the elements before being placed outside. This shield provides only a very basic rain protection only, it isn't intended to provide proper ‘IP’ standard protection levels, please use with sensible caution.
